Traumatic dental injuries
Teeth that have been knocked loose, pushed out of position or knocked out entirely. Time matters enormously here — call us before you do anything else.
Our Services
Three core specialty procedures, supported by the diagnostics and comfort options that make them predictable. Every one of them has the same goal — keeping your own tooth in your own mouth.
01
The inflamed or infected pulp is removed, the canal system disinfected and sealed — ending the pain while keeping the tooth in place. Performed under magnification with profound local anaesthesia, usually in one appointment.
Learn More02
When a previously treated tooth fails to heal, we reopen it, remove the old filling material, locate missed or calcified canals and re-seal the system — often avoiding extraction and implant surgery altogether.
Learn More03
Also called an apicoectomy. Through a tiny opening, the root tip and surrounding infected tissue are removed and the canal sealed from the end — micro-instruments and the operating microscope keep the site small and healing fast.
Learn More04
Same-day evaluation for severe ache, swelling, pressure sensitivity or dental trauma. Relief first, planning second.
Learn More05
Transillumination, dye testing, bite analysis and 3D imaging to find fractures while the tooth is still saveable.
Learn More06
Low-dose CBCT scans that reveal root anatomy, fractures and bone loss a flat x-ray simply cannot show.
Learn MoreWhat Is Endodontics?
Inside every tooth, under the enamel and the dentin, is a soft tissue called the pulp — blood vessels and nerves that run from the crown down to the tip of each root.
When decay, a deep filling, a crack or a knock lets bacteria reach that pulp, it becomes inflamed and then infected. Because the pulp is sealed inside a hard chamber, the pressure has nowhere to go — which is why a dying tooth can hurt so much, and why the pain often wakes people at night.
Endodontic treatment removes that tissue, disinfects the space it occupied and seals it so bacteria cannot return. The tooth stays. That matters: no artificial replacement chews, feels or lasts quite like the tooth you were born with.
Also Treated Here
Teeth that have been knocked loose, pushed out of position or knocked out entirely. Time matters enormously here — call us before you do anything else.
When a tooth is injured before the root has finished forming, we encourage the root end to close so the tooth can be sealed properly.
A process in which the body begins dissolving the tooth from inside or outside. Caught early it can often be arrested and the tooth retained.
Repairing an unintended opening through the side of a root or the pulpal floor with bioceramic materials, under the microscope.
Canals that have narrowed to almost nothing with age or injury. This is patient, high-magnification work, and it is what we are here for.
If you have been told a tooth must come out, we are happy to look at it and tell you honestly whether it can be saved.
Neither are most people. Call us and describe what you are feeling — we will tell you.
